Friday.. A Day To Reflect on Your Weekly Habits. Are they healthy ones?

Friday’s are looked at as the end to a week and a new beginning into the weekend… some of us just plow through that day to get to tomorrow to enjoy some time off with family and friends. But what most don’t do is reflect on what went right that week to celebrate their accomplishments, because after all it took a lot of commitment and discipline to try to stay on track with your healthy habits?

Forgetting to reflect upon our small accomplishments in our week, our minds will then focus more on what we did wrong… and then leads us to emotional and stressful eating… that only leaves our bodies feeling bloated, tired where now you decide not to get your exercise in that day and you just become overall upset with your lack of commitment once again.

When we live our life like a robot.. not reflecting on what we are doing and our outcomes, what are triggers are that make us make unhealthy choices we can’t be more proactive in our life to make changes more timely, our bodies take a toll that lead us to being unhealthy and making unconscious choices that leave us feelings of regret that also adds more stress to our body, mind and soul.

So today, reflect for a moment and write down what you achieved this week with your efforts to eat healthy and to workout daily and celebrate any and all of your progress that you committed too.

Then, write down what went wrong… what aggravated you.. identify your triggers that make you want to give up.  Write down what you will do differently next week to avoid the same mishaps.. Pin that list some place on your fridge at home or any place that you will see it at work, so on Sunday you will view your list of accomplishments from your past week and already have a game plan created to avoid the mistakes from your previous week.
