My Story

Julie Miller is the founder and owner of Pledge To Be Healthy where she inspires women to live their best life; as they make healthier choices to enhance their lives, empower their spirits, and achieve their goals.

Her time spent over the last 35+ years (both east and west coast) obtaining related degrees in Nutrition and Fitness, as well as her certification as a Mind/Body Life Coach, taught her that her purpose and joy in life is to inspire and motivate others to live healthy and active lives. She loves being a part of people’s journey, seeing them accomplish their goals and then supporting them as they continue to live their life with their healthy habits for longevity.

Julie married in 1995 her soulmate, where they shared the same values such as: making healthy choices around nutrition and fitness, living with kindness, respect for themselves and for others. They brought 3 beautiful children into this world, who are all now young adults. We are so proud of them as they continue to find their purpose and their joy in life. We love seeing how they have incorporated our values into how they naturally live their lives every day.

When she’s not working as a Entrepreneur building her business, she loves to go for walks with her dog listening to meditative music and/or positive affirmation audio.  She loves date nights with her hubby or even staying in to watch NETFLIX movies. Loves, loves crossword puzzles, and she loves to exercise daily when she does not teach her group fit or yoga classes.  Any cardio workout is her favorite like a SPIN class, Kickboxing, or Power Yoga..

Julie is a Certified MIND/BODY Life Coach, Master Level LivFree® Yoga Teacher RYT, Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Master Nutrition Coach for 2B Mindset and PORTION FIX programs through BODi and she has also been a Team BODi Coach since 2011.

When Julie works with clients, she does so from a place of compassion and understanding how life can throw us off guard. With all the blessings that life has brought her and her family, she has dealt early on with post pardon depression, and more recently with grief from the lost of her mother in 2020 from COVID. She learned that without the right support around her, life can snowball into a dark place.  Her journey has taught her how to manage depression and how to grieve from a place of love and not sadness.  Her choice to focus on her health has empowered her to continue to help others either in person if they live locally, or online if they live globally. Her life experiences which she will always share with her clients, in addition to her credentials and background enables her to work with clients wherever they are in their journey, so that they too can feel empowered to live their best life to become their best self.
