What does Moving Joyfully for a Healthier Mind, Body & Soul really mean?

Surrender to the fact that you have to MOVE to stay healthy from your brain, to your heart, to your skin, hair….and your attitude in life!!  This does not mean that you have to be perfect to be successful…you can succeed where you are at right now. Success is giving it your best shot.

The key to joyful movement is really listening to your body. Stop and tune in for a moment: how is your body feeling? Is it tired? Energetic? Does it want to move, or does it need to rest? Most times we are so busy with our lives we ignore what our bodies are telling us that it needs.  If we only listen to it.. it would seriously lead us to a healthier mind, body and soul.. that in return would lead us to a more peaceful and stronger body to live in. 

If it wants to move, instead of ignoring that feeling, try to determine what kind of movement is it craving for? A nice long walk? Some serious cardio? Lifting heavy things? Something playful?  All these ideas are wonderful and any of them that you choose will be as rewarding as the next.

It’s also about tuning in after movement and seeing how your body is feeling. What positive effects do you notice after you’ve moved your body? Has your mood changed? Do you feel physically different? Is your body happy for the movement? Taking time to reflect on how you feel will motivate you the next day to tune into your body to see if it wants to move again… You’ll soon become additive to that amazing feeling you feel after movement.  File your new knowledge away and use it to deepen your intuition about when your body wants movement, and what type of movement it wants.

So…..  just BREATHE / MOVE / and be JOYFUL.
